What a lovely day Chelsea and William’s wedding day was! From beginning to end, it was just gorgeous. Chelsea’s good friend works at a salon just down the street from the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield in Littleton, Colorado, where the couple got married, so all of her lovely bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done there. Those details wrapped up earlier than expected… which NEVER happens in the world of weddings… so a small crew killed an hour with beer and chips and salsa at the Mexican restaurant next door. And then is was showtime.
Her gorgeous gown was perfect layers of fluffy fun. He looked dashing in his gray suit and the look he had on his face when he saw the new watch she bought him was priceless. We had perfect and warm sunlight as the sun lowered in the sky right as they were saying their vows and their fun loving wedding party indulged their inner child by hanging all over the playground fort at the Gardens. We had a quick little window for pictures, but we without a doubt made the most of it!
As everyone wrapped up dinner, toasts began and so did the the torrential downpour that came beating down on the large tent the reception was being held in. The toasters had their work cut out with them to be able to compete with the sound of the water show that was going on overhead, but it gave everyone a reason to cozy up to the front of the tent. What’s a wedding without a funny little story to tell down the road? Congrats you two! Thanks for having me as part of your story!
